56* and Cloudy with some rain showers wrapping back in from the coastal system off New England. In other words, nothing exciting.

SPC has upped the ante for Thursday storms across the area. Solid soundings for a potent squall line to move thru during the afternoon, with Wind Advisories also in place for strong winds lasting into the evening behind the cold frontal passage.

It looks like the squall is coming a bit earlier in. I am watching a sheet of darkness coming up over the trees beyond my deck.

Looks not too threatening with the cells but the actual push of the front could have some pretty gusty winds, dunno how much thunder/lightning there will be as there does not appear to be much instability.

Very strong T’Storm coming through here now. Lots of wind and thunder.

Winds behind these storms later this afternoon and this evening as the cold air pours in, should be very gusty as well.

same here no kaboom just heavy rain now the wind is howling

Had lots of thunder here. Guess the heavier cells were in Central NJ. Now gusty NW winds have settled in. Lots of wind.

With the lack of white stuff, I'm now totally jonesing for a rocking thunder storm. *sigh*

Wondering if some of us will see some snowflakes at some point in the next few weeks with this pattern. Lots of cold nights in the next two weeks.

Just got up, looked outside, and I see a light dusting of snow on my roof, the grass, and on the cars in my neighborhood.  My eyes did a double take.

Wow, wind is literally launching my lawn furniture into the air.

So sad it’s April 10 and currently it’s snowing lightly where was this in Jan feb March

Yes, we had them for about two minutes in Bloomfield at 1:45pm. I thought they were blossoms until I saw them melting on the deck.
