[quote="amugs"]GFS won't let go of this timeframe with this fantasy snow event!!!

earthquake - Banter Thread 5.0 - Page 14 EkX57PTXYAE2LF6?format=jpg&name=medium[/quotehappened b4 2011. And 2018. Not a good thing but I think to coinciding sucky winter is a coincidence. To note I read that each year after the lowest snowfalls on record there was well above normal snowfall. So let's hope. This winter may be pretty unpleasant in terms of covid and the flu so tracking storms may be our only fun.

your welcome..I think there was a lot of stuff out because people cleaned their attics while they were home..I have a huge pile up my attic..but did not want to have a garage sale this fall. I donated a lot and the rest I will put out in the spring in Hazlet we have townwide in the fall and spring. I did go to get my car washed..and the town was buzzing with cars and passed a few garage sales that looked tempting..but I was good and kept driving. Glad you enjoyed and Clark is only about 25 min further south..so not that bad as far as timing.

Clark is north of you closer to the gwb. Hazlet was another 30 min south or so. Well south and east. I really don't feel there's a ton to worry about if you sanitize and wear masks personally. I was floored how many homeowners were not wear masks though. Garage sale season is almost over as the cold comes and because of the virus they were banned till like June. So who knows what will happen in the spring. I'll say one thing other than being down about be laid off due to a huge amount of our parents dropping their kids I've never felt healthier. I used to be sick constantly. It's been 6 plus months I haven't even had a cold. Sadly it was a layoff termination and they brought back only a few people and that didn't include me. But it's weird as they are now hiring at a higher rate than before. Makes no sense. People get more money with no experience when they could have just taken us seasoned teachers back.

Record shattering temps in teh Rockies and snow down to Texas and through Mizzou - earliest snowfalls for them in these regions is Dec 1st! The Jet Stream is in its wavy Meridional flow due to low solar that kicked in 2 years ago so we have these extremes on both sides of it. Get use to it folks looks like it will be a regime for next year as well with teh Jet.

Oh I will - he is going to be on our NJWO ZOOM in December - David Dilley is up next month the 12th. Zoom has been great for getting people to present - unintended consequences of this situation.

Okay how this for cold - my GOD some areas absolutely demolished their record cold set back 100 years ago.

I watch a show called the Joe and Joe show on youtube, and last night they had on Jim Witt you worked for WHUD weather in the 80s, people in the Hudson Valley will likely remember that station. Well Jim is really good at long range forecast and he put out his four month outlook and I wish i didn't watch it last night it was just bad well above normal temps in Nov,Dec and January are only chance would be Feb with near normal! The snow part not so good as well with Feb our best shot!! Hate to bring the bad news but I have been hearing this chatter of a 3 peat and Jim is a very good at his long range outlook will see!!!
