Just turned on my spotlights to see how hard it was snowing and saw a flying squirrel in my bird feeder. I don't know how he can fly around in this weather. He must have good GPS. lol

Looks like snow taking over now.I've got golfball size flakes coming down.

You were right on the money! The exact same thing happened in Mahwaha few minutes ago.Someone flipped a switch and I went from heavy sleet to heavy snow.

What an incredible weather phenomena to observe from 12 midnight last night to now!

ULL is taking a very long time to pivot east. I think good banding still exists. Also looks like the dry slot is filling in and people slowly switching to snow. We could really get anywhere from 1 to as much as 6 inches. All depends on banding. I don't think I can stay awake to see where it sets up. Lol

got one new inch of sleet and new snow.Heavy snow, looks like 2 inch an hour rate.

I could imagine that rain would have equaled 2 feet of snow! It was insane, I just hope it can dry up a bit in the AM going to put all my stuff in dryer now. Bridge is closed really only way to highway.

That's good !! Reports are things are backfilling in nicely with some moderate to heavy bands in SW PA which will rotate up this way.
