Guys, this is done, lets move on and there is more possibility in fact the GFS (which seems may be our new pro) has several including one big storm. I posted in long range.

Jeez by the radar dbxz they could top 4 feet then wow, no wonder TWC was on top of them.

One last nice burst of moderate snow here.Best I've seen in the storm up here. Radar shows precip collapsing on western flank now.
Got some nice one foot drifts around the property, anyway. Almost one foot of snowpack that should last a while as well.
Life is good!!!
We may top 4 inches before this is through Doc.
Of course yesterday at this time I thought I'd be writing we may top 40 inches before this is through.
What a difference that little zero makes......4 or 4(0).
Thinking we wind up with 4 when all is said and done.I'll take it. At least we have a one foot snowpack going into the clipper and late weekend event.NWS thinks it may be a "warm storm" which might benefit us in the HV .

Stopped snowing here in Syosset. 17 inches. Puts me at 25.5 for the season. Still really disappointing. I finished up 8 inches less than NWS prediction but only 5 inches less than Frank's. You tell me whose better? South and west of Boston many 30+ amounts already and they're under a stationary 2-3 inch per hour band right now.

NWS report is 10.0 inches for Yonkers as of 10am. Bronx is 10-12 inches
Do you measure under trees?

This is from a guy on another forum I follow. He does all the spotter reporting on his own. And I think the snow that fell earlier in the day yesterday is accounted into that

Hard to be precise but I got into the 10-11" range. Looking at other reports it looks like it was confined to about the eastern 1/3 of NYC..and then we all know how it took off east from there. Northern and eastern Queens had a foot and just shy of a foot in east Bronx and up along the eastern edge of Westchester..those Sound shore towns. Every promising band I saw fell apart soon after coming off the water, made me think it got a little boost coming across the water then almost DOA on land. If you was kinda close you got the scraps of those bands.
There was a mid morning mini burst I dunno if you got that, I think it pushed LGA over a foot and gave me a few more tenths I should add that to the total.

Doc, we're right on the money. I was just going to post 3.8 inches and done.
Wish it was 38 but like an idiot I started to half believe the Euro and NAM.
I've got to start getting better at looking at all the intricacies that go into this that Frank, Sroc, Al, Mugs, Rb and others on this board. At my age however, I doubt it.

Just measured a ton of spots on my lawn and took the average. I got 21" here!!! Nearby towns are reporting similar numbers so I feel confident with that number. Everything looks so nice

Yeah, no use for us old heads, when I see those snow maps, sanity and reason are a thing of the past....madness reigns.Oh well, I'll have to try and look to see the man behind the curtain next time,LOL!

13" here. Given how areas to the west got a lot less and given the lull in heavy precipitation yesterday evening, I'll take it.

Sun peaking through the clouds in the city. Although I would have loved to see what Manhattan looked like buried under 2+ feet of snow (Feb 2010 was the most I've seen - I missed the BD Blizzard), I still enjoyed tracking this system with everyone here. Here's what 9th Ave in Hell's Kitchen looked like without any street traffic during the most intense snowfall we received last night. Most days traffic is backed up as far as you can see in this image.

I love pictures of snow-covered deserted roads, especially from the city. Thanks
