I'm determined to stay up and watch the first flakes of the last storm (possibly ) for this season.

Interesting that it literally jackpots NYC lol almost looks like it puts it in the crosshairs, pun intended lol or as a destination; "X" marks the spot hahaha Boy, poor SnowMan gets shafted if this actually verifies lol

HRRR is pretty volatile. I take with grain of salt. It's either really good or bad.

These are so far out though for this model; how much do you trust it? Personally, I HATE the HRRR with a burning passion lmao long story behind that, but that's besides the point haha

Yes, dislike it more than like. The first 3-4 hours I do agree with.

Rain/snow line looks about right, but it is SEVERELY underdone with the precipitation to the south and east of it.....

And uh ohhhh-current radar may be indicating the initialization of that dual-band structure you talked about in one of your updates: The main over NYC and points southwest, and a second one in NEPA perhaps, which if it is that would be streaming over my house for once lol Would only have taken until the end of the season, but hey; better late than never haha

Someone's getting screwed. Before it was NE NJ now could be NEPA somewhere

It's still probably going to be the folks here and in the LHV to be honest. You can see where your main frontogenesis is already set up, and there is no way that moves north. The precipitation field may at times try to fill out around it a bit, but that will be almost like pulses that flare and then fade away again. And HO-LY SH!TTTT I may see the first 30 dBZ returns of the season in the next few minutes lol With the optimal dendritic growth zone being reached right now it should be a pretty sight!!!
