GEFS mean is 8" wow, leggo, about to go out and get first obs of the night cracking into some brewskis, hoping for 4-8", more than 6" would be great and pretty much one of the biggest storms all year.

If I had a smart-phone I'd take a pic and post. Moderate snow here atm.....~.25" and counting lmfao better than nothing. I will say, though, that once you DO go over your ratios will go up fairly quickly. The snow already much lighter than earlier on. I'm probably looking at a 12:1 snow right now.

Nah man, the second phone I ever got was because my first was so old the company didn't even make it anymore, so Motorola sent me a brand new one. Then, that one was so outdated they sent me a third one for free lmao I don't use a phone like that for internet and apps and games, just as a phone and to text. There's never been a reason for me to pay hundreds of dollars for a smartphone and then never use 99% of it lmfao Besides, it's amazing how long things last when you take care of them, which is something a lot of our generation doesn't realize; everything is disposable now. They don't care about maintaining anything. The biggest issue I have ever had is the batteries start dying on me lol But I must say, I think this Spring I will join the 21st century and get one. Now with my new computer it just makes sense to. So next winter........be prepared haha

Almost 1 AM. Moderate rain and 40 degrees. Whenever it does switch over it's gonna take a while to stick cause of the wet ground. After that can we really get enough precip. to go 6"+?????? Neutral

It looks like my snow may be fairly short-lived....radar starting to get pretty ragged over central PA. Oh well, I'll take ~0.5". It freshened up the woods and snowpack, so I'm happy. I'm gonna hit the hay for the night, and go to sleep with the visions of 25dBZ snow in my head :p Good night all! I'll check back in the morning to see what I missed. Hope it ends quick when it switched. Two nights of horrible work conditions. Expecting snow tonight made things worse. I could use two calm days at work. BTW this is a little off topic, but am I the only one who sees the wrong time where it says what time someone posted? It's 1am and it says someone posted something at 2:55am....

Wouldnt it take some epic precip to reach those totals..its looks like snow is a few hours away and actual acclumating snow even futher. Snow doesnt stick well on wet ground even when its cold, but im still trying to get out the 40s. Even where its snowing now its above freezing, look like freezing temps are north of Albany

Rain/snow line officially moved thru manhattan at 3:30, though surface temps are too warm still to support accumulation. This'll quicky change in the next two hours I'd assume.

snowing here noew. its going to be very hard to acc outside is saturated with water. big puddles all over.
nws lowered snow fall. this seems right to me. to much to overcome to get big acc.

already .4" of rain. that is half of qpf that models were spitting out. to much rain early on.

Yeah, we got a lot of rain overnight. Hopefully second wave over performs but this warm air won out too long.

as of 3am only Sussex nj is 32* everywhere else is above freezing. even Scranton pa is 33*. we are going to lose about 2hrs of snow to above freezing temps and with wet roads it is not going to acc. I can realistically see cpk end up with about 2" with most streets and highways wet.
