Good long band of moderate snow to occasionally heavy from NYC due west on rt. 80 again all the way back to Netcong NJ. Then more by Allentown building NE. Metro area and LI and CNJ could be looking at another 3 hours of steady accumulating snows. Maybe another 2" area wide!!

Need just over 2 inches to reach double digits here in CNJ....Looking at the radar to the southwest I think I have a good shot if I can hold on for another 3 hours or so.

Just finished snowblowing. I'm up to 6"! Snowing at a moderate pace at the moment. Man I love the snow! Felt like a kid out there. Family and friends have long known my addiction. They will never understand. Oh well, better then having an addiction to drugs or booze!!! Laughing

After about an hour lull with almost no snow it picked up again around 3 p.m. and is going strong. Steady moderate snow coming down for the past hour.
