See thats a record breaker like cat 5 nesis.... Which is why I have I have a hard time believing its anything but eye candy atm. Still a lot of time left for trending. How many times have we seen EURO/CMC eye candy in the further range only see it to correct/ moderate before the storm? Think how much this storm today fluctuated in the past 100 hours. This pattern is terribly unpredictable and I seriously have low confidence in anything more than 2-3 days out.

I hear you butt he fact that there is a storm signal on all models and their ensemble members is a very good sign. Always the optimist I am and I like what I am seeing so far. We another 48 hrs with minor changes then we are in very good shape - Friday is when it is to come pay us a visit.

Do not start the jinx with teh B words here please. Only positive tempered juju.

While obviously an Operational run, at this range it is startling to see the potential on the ECMWF and CMC global suites. The intricate details of the storm will become important in about 3 days time. But what the Euro signals at this range, would be a historic and high impact winter storm. For now, patience and perspective as we move forward.
