Re: 01/12 Arctic Front Observations
Moderate snow now but I probably won't see more than a dusting since the temp is 36* and the back edge is approaching.

Re: 01/12 Arctic Front Observations
OMG what is this white stuff falling from the sky I haven't seen it in so long that I can't recall what it is. Finally seeing a few flakes in the Bronx maybe I'll take back that winter is over. Nah it's over

Pretty funny stuff CP. I think you should write all the WWA for the NWS!

If the rest of that precip doesnt make it over the mtns tonight and this is it, accumulation 0, snowed for about 30 mins to an hour in the mid to upper 30s.

jman had some very light rain that went to a few wet snowflakes. that's all atm. dry now. so much for the convective showers of rain and snow we were supposed to get.jmanley32 wrote:Rain in south bronx no snow al odd.

Re: 01/12 Arctic Front Observations
Even if you are getting light rain right now, remember, the temp is dropping fast and will turn wet roadways into ice. Down to 36.8 here on the North Shore of LI.
