Heavy line of snow moving into NJ!! Could drop a quick inch!

I can't believe I'm getting a little bit excited over a snow squall man times are tough right now in the weather bizz

According to our member map, RJB will be getting hit very soon

NOOOOO the line is thinning around the top. I bet I get screwed in NE NJ

I should be getting hit in about 15 to 20 minutes

Yea, looks very weak for anyone north of the city. Not expecting anything up here.

Could swing north of me here in Jackson right on 195...we will see shortly

Someone in northern orange county reporting they picked up a quick inch from this with nice snow growth and heavy snow.

Nice little strong area of this line is about to get to me. Getting ready for my first snow walk of the winter. Just around one quick inch of snow is all I ask for. Wish me luck lol.

29* and the first light snow flakes have started falling in Somerville. If radar holds there is a line of heavier snow about 10 miles west moving this way.

yet to see a single flake here on LI. Temps still upper 30's

Thanks Taffy. Hope the snow is headed your way. We now have a more steady light (or light to moderate) wind whipped snow falling here. Just starting to stick to cars and grassy surfaces.

Looks like the southern part of the line is going south of me and the rest north....its afraid of I-195

Annnnnd, that's all folks. LOL. Oh well. As fast as it came, it went. Just a few left over flakes falling now, not even enough to call it light snow. The duration of this event 7:55 to 8:12. Duration of steady snow: about 5 minutes. Not even a full coating on cars/grass and just wet sidewalks.

Well that was a dud I can't even buy a snow squall line boring the only thing that was impressive was the wind I heard on the scanner quit a few trees are down in the neighborhoods

33.5 here on LI. Squall line is dying out. Ughhhh

Currently walking with my dog waiting for the snow to start. Still looks good on radar but the squall has slowed a bit just west of me of course.

Alex, based on what I just saw here, and how quickly it cut off, and what I see on the radar, I don't think it's making it to you buddy. You might get a few flakes in the air and some wind.
