20.3, 87%, 29.47F Light snow. Looks like we are done with the heavy stuff.
13 inches average of three spots.I need a shot of bourbon after that,LOL
Was very lucky to get this as CP mentioned just 20 miles north of me was a bust.

Think the storm is winding down east of the Hudson.
23 in here, NW Essex., not bad. A top 10 storm!

dkodgis wrote:May I say, in the prior spirit of Doc and CP, this winter is over. I have thrown in the towel and never expect to see snow again. Here in northern Orange County, I rip my heart out and hold it up for everyone to see. I am a broken man, without snow, and my life is over. Everyone, please send condolences.
I just don't understand how these storms the past years have all taken these S and E trends with these ridiculously sharp cutoffs.Believe me, I am one of the oldest people on this board and have seen a lot more snowstorms of 12 inches plus than anybody here.I will tell you that in the 50's, 60's and 70's when I lived in Fort Lee NJ, a lot further S and E than where I am now, the constant refrain in any big snowstorms from the weather forecasters back then was 'areas north and west of the City will get a lot more snow".Something is going on and maybe one of the experts here can explain to me why these storms constantly favor areas S and E.We can only hope that a monster storm like March 1993 comes up and hugs the coast and blasts us up here. Sorry about today, buddy.
