We may get a break for a few hours late morning, early afternoon before the front comes through late tomorrow. Looks like it will come through NNJ about 9-10 pm.

Ha i dont think that band has moved at all, just going through varying intensities. Along a line from I-80 in Paterson to GWB to Throggs Neck Bridge/LI Sound.

just got back from cityisland we went to arties restaurant for my mom birthday and it poured it really came down so much rain .now its very muggy outside i think for tom we are due for strong to severe thunderstorms

The main front is still in west-central PA. It won't be until the evening hours when it gets here. Ahead of the front expect on and off rain showers and isolated downpoura. SPC believes severe cells may try to develop ahead of the main feont. I disagree, at least for our area. Maybe SNJ and Philly Metro get some.

Barely any rain here at all all weekend. Just took a look at the radar and wondering if NJ will be spared most of the severe weather. Seems like everything is moving NE but will stay to our west. Just an observation. I could be wrong.

Yeah, looks like SNJ and Delmarva need to watch out, depends on how far north the warm front gets. It is forecast to just come up to Central NJ.

We need sun to destabilize the atmosphere but the stubborn cloud cover. Some storms during up western north Jersey area

Pouring here - too much cloud clover for us to see tors and severe but heavy rains and possible t-storms - see how far the warm front pushes up.

Dew point at 68 here, got a little brighter but no sun. Temp at 68° in NNJ and 84° in S. Jersey.... hope they are ready for some action....

Speaking with people on Facebook from PA, they said this line is pretty boring and only producing some strong winds in the 40mph range. It doesn't get interesting unless you're in southeast PA. In other words, this probably won't be anything special. As expected.
