Tracks just off the NJ coast. Again, this is east of last night, which had it over NJ. Huge changes. I knew modeling didn't look right trying to ram this thing head on into that block aha
I am so behind on this system. I haven't looked at any details on actual models at all. Ive only been following the forum. Ive been so under the weather, no pun intended, since Thursday. Keep up the good job all.
Hope you feel better soon!!

here is my understanding..if the police in our town say not safe to put kids on buses then no they will not....don't forget some kids leave district for vocational school, high tech...biotech...and also you can not have kids walking or waiting at the bus stop with that kind of wind...I do believe they will close ....lets see if I am right.

Mugs/Everyone,
My fiancé teaches at NJCU in Jersey City on Monday nights. Do you think he should be cancelling class tomorrow? Any chance the university will close? How about K12 schools in Hudson County? That's his day job and I'm concerned about him driving home to Morris County tomorrow afternoon (230ish) or night 630-730ish).

I firmly believe they should not have school this is going to be devastating for the coast. I will be taking many pictures tommorrow and sharing them on here.

Also it has been raining lightly here since noon the ground is soft and wet. I'm saying it if the winds verify which I think they will trees will be down.

Cancel class and I would stay home as I did in '92 Nor'easter when I worked in JERSEY CITY PS 14 SCHOOL. I would not have made it home that day living in Passaic County!! Play it safe again it is one day.sabamfa wrote:Mugs/Everyone,

HC probably will not close too many kids rely on the schools for services and meals.

Thanks, Mugs. Will talk to him about cancelling the college class. Staying home during the day not an option - gets almost zero days. :/

Guys if the heavy stuff won't be here until late tomorrow there is no way they should close schools. I agree they should but there is no way any of the ocean county schools do without heavy rain and just wind.

Actually neither. Follow the RGEM. Its usually an accurate short range model. I'll follow the other models for trends only.TheAresian wrote:Time to see which model is better:
