Not looking too bad at all weather.com and noaa have decreased the rainfall totals. Looks like this won't be bad at all. Just a little wind.

Cmon track stop saying this won't be bad. It sounds bad out there and precaution can't hurt either. Ur sounding young and immature
Re: January 22nd-24th Nor'easter Observations & Discussions
Far from young and immature. Just because I disagree with you. Fact is go one noaa our rainfall totals have decreased at every update. Truth is I don't believe this is bad at all.

Currently 42* with 15 mph winds and gusts at 28 mph. Wind is definitely kicking up considering the Low is still centered back in Western VA near KY. Lots of rain out there' from Ohio down to NC. I think if we don't get dry slotted we'll get plenty of rain from this.

Short range models have a sub 985 low almost backing into the Jersey coast... don't be fooled by lowered rainfall amounts...

Why is it that the precip expected seems to have decreased over time?

Re: January 22nd-24th Nor'easter Observations & Discussions
This is going to be intense. Models overnight show a strengthening coastal low moving up the coast. This afternoon and overnight will be the worst of the storm. Rain, wind, flooding, etc.

Models are still outputting over 2 inches of rain in some spots. Please keep these comments to yourself until the storm event is over.

36.3
A slow steady drop in temperatures since midnight from 39.2. This will be real borderline for frozen precip in Orange County as has been pretty much expected for the last couple of days.

I had less then a half inch of rain from Sandy and less than an inch from Irene. Yet somehow half my trees ended up lying flat on the street. Rain may not be the number one problem for the coast but pretty sure the winds are what we will be talking about in 12 hours.
