Re: January 22nd-24th Nor'easter Observations & Discussions
It's TRYING to snow here lol got some of the biggest freaking sleet pellets I've ever seen. But there are definitely ones falling at noticeably slower rates, so I wonder if we can cool enough to get it completely back to snow. I doubt it, but there's at least a little hope lol

Re: January 22nd-24th Nor'easter Observations & Discussions
It's been interesting to see how the wind gusts are affecting my building. The windows and ceiling on the east side of the building are rattling and making a noise that almost sounds like the wind is coming right through them. When I was on the top floor of the adjacent building to ours the ceiling was rattling as well. And these are very well constructed, solid buildings.

The highest winds will stop overnight sometime. However, tomorrow morning they'll still gust to 30mph at times. Then by the afternoon they should get calm again.syosnow94 wrote:Calling Docstox.....looks like Frank and rb9 are looking for a place in the OTI sanitarium
I've never been there. If the first week of February does not produce then I will need a Visa.
The Emperor does NOT need a VISA to get into OTI. Let's be clear.

The Office of OTI Attorney General will prepare proper security measures and island fanfare for the Emperor's arrival.

Where do we begin?
It's an imaginary Island in cyberspace that has it's own thread on Franks Forum. If you visit the residents could give a detailed explanation or you could read through the Island history.

Yes, I gave rb a tongue in cheek answer above but we have a complete record of our Island available for your consideration!

I was sitting on the island the other day and I saw someone flying in the air spelling out in black smoke "Surrender Warmth."

No, when that happens I feel like it just went OTS.
THIS ONE ISNT GOING OUT TO SEA lmfao the radar imagery is crazy right now
what radar site should we look at... we just had some really strong gusts go thru 39 mph
They're all about the same, it just depends what color scale you like and if you like ones that include precipitation types.
This is late, but Intellicast is good for p-type...

And for big storms I like the good old Full Res National Loop. Look at that monster!

I was just looking at that too. Looks like the banding off the ocean has finally set up shop for the evening.

BIG-time wind lull right now in Manhattan. I feel like we get jipped here from big winds during storms—it's as if the buildings create a block; and then on days it's not windy elsewhere or forecast to be windy at all, the wind is ripping here thru the buildings lol
