It's going to be a slog if we can't get a victory from anyone not named Cole. We'll turn it around, and a home series against the Rays is a good opportunity to do that.
Does it sound like I'm trying to convince myself?

Re: Banter Thread 6.0
Great video by Ben Davidson. Talked about Extreme Weather areas will see in Oct 2019. And it will become a norm for us. Don't be a IMBY tude - if doesn't happen to me than I am free or if doesn't affect me like so many think and act in our world. Our planet is and has and always will be changing. We are a small Microcosim of the Macrocosm and not be a quark in time on this beautiful planet and solar system. Man will move through the cycles of life, destruction and rebirth as we have for tens of thousands of years on spaceship Earth (it is you know a spaceship floating through the void we call space). Any terrestrial happening can affect us from millions of miles away and there ain't a dam thing we can do. Hence we are seeing our outer plants atmosphere morph, change and collapse. It's a domino effect were about every 6 months give or take 1 this has been occurring with Pluto, Neptune and now Uranus. They affect each other and by about 2023/24 IF this keeps going it WILL affect Mothership Earth. How don't know, never lived through it but time will tell. Our Galactic sheet of neutron, dust and protons particles is charging and we are seeing g ground to space lightening happening over the poles and many other areas of our planet. I find this fascinating and it is at times challenging to understand and wrap one's head around but it's happening.
Enjoy this if you so choose.

Thanks Mugs for posting this! Quite ironic and funny actually that this is the most recent post, because today is the first day I've logged on in like a month and I came today to finally post a few quick thoughts about this past winter, but almost didn't cuz I was like 'who even cares about winter anymore'. ha ha.
Anyway, first and foremost, I wanted to thank all of the regular contributors (the Mods, Mets and Members alike) for making the winter season a really fun one on the forum. The amount of time that you all put in to educate and entertain is really appreciated and added a lot imo to this year's Return of the Snow!
Regarding the snow map and winter '20/'21 itself, I think it was CP who said that February roared and most of the rest of the winter was a dud much the last two winters in general. My part of coastal Ocean County finished with just over 20", on a total of 5-6 events of 1" or more. The two 'bigger' totals were 4-5" each on Sun Jan 31 and Super Sunday a week later. The Jan 31 storm was tempered by the r/s line for the biggie (2/1-2/2) setting up on top of me- especially after I was in the Bullseye just 36 hrs out.
Still, the big theme for me was the Return of the Snow and the February parade of storms. The kids had their fill for sure! We also got a dose of thundersnow down here as I recall!
Overall grade: B. And thanks again!

How can a -NAO promote anomalous warming in both the MDR & subtropical E NATL?
— Philippe Papin (@pppapin) April 21, 2021
1) Suppresses subtropical ridging & often leads to weaker easterly trade wind flow in the MDR.
2) Warm moist southwesterly flow equatorward of cyclones can also enhance SSTA in the subtropics. pic.twitter.com/wZ8dMKcFyD
Get the generators primed along the coast peeps just in case - just saying!!
Going to be an active Hcane season again, back to back record breakers?? Remains to be seen but the table is being set.

It maybe quite interesting. A step-down or up however you look at it from this past winter in my opinion. Meaning it will come on hard and linger. If we see a big VEI 5 than game on quickly.
