Southern energy will get out ahead of a trough and possibly cause the I95 first measurable snowfall of the season on Sunday night.  This storm may trend wetter and more expansive (northward) as time goes on due to the fetch from GOM and an ULL far enough away to allow the ULL energy room to come up and not OTS.  The precip comes in at night and air should be cold enough for c-2" type deal with possible moderate upside.

GFS has some bursts of snow showers Sunday night into early Monday. Gotta check the temp profiles, because this could be white rain.

Comes in at night and heavy enough that I think colder surfaces it sticks.  But yes on the coastal plain always have to be concerned about that unless deep cold air is entrenched which it is not.

Not much change in thinking.  C-2" and I95 should get on the board. Personally I'll enjoy whatever I get as not sure how many times we'll see snow this year.

Euro is most ambitious with qpf. Other models not nearly as wet.

Lol.  Very modest, but I like what Euro shows.  I-78 corridor with best shot at 1"+ mainly on colder surfaces.

Timing is after 1am this morning which plays in our favor. C-1” on colder surfaces is a good call for NNJ including the city. CNJ and south will probably be too warm

30* here and welcome the white gold. Gonna cause some travel issues since it will be the 1st snow during a rush hour albeit light it'll still cause issues.

So true Doc.  As you can see even surface wet bulb temps are warm for most and w/out good rates we aren't going to even see a coating on colder surfaces.  The WAA moisture didn't work for us.
