Low last night 39 degrees, went out this morning at 6:15 in the AM and checked for frost,

no frost yet this year. Grass was just wet, think it needs to be 32 for frost,

40* for my low, plenty of patchy frost on roof tops of homes on my way to work and smoke off the reservoir!! FALL is here!

Earlier today, I did another fall hike, this time up to the Sleeping Beauty Summit in Fort Ann, NY. Here is the view of the fall colors as well as Lake George off in the distance.

Beautiful photo Math! My Wife and I were at Lake George in June, historical place with lots of natural beauty.

44 degrees, cloudy, calm.Showers today and tonight then a big drop in temps, 30's-50's with frost chances at night.

Hey,Mom, maybe I saw you sitting on the deck at the Sagamore House Hotel where we were at.Lot's of boats all over.How do you get into the lake, sail down the St.Lawrence River to it?

A few days late on this but Thursday Oct 10th was the night the Auroras were visible what seemed like all over the US. I was in Forked River and my wife was driving, I looked up and the sky was red and I screamed STOP THE CAR! We found a small park with a good view of the sky and was there 7:15 to 8pm just looking up until it faded away!

haha you probably did we went right by the hotel...we had to rv this year because our boat had some issues and parts not available

..first time in 17 years we have used the boat less than a handful of times...husband has been miserable..and now that everything is in he will fix in land. We rented a boat and my husband could not have been happier..

and not a trawler so we zipped around that lake for the day!! What a beautiful area..

34 degrees at 7:06 in the am, frost on car roofs and windows but none on the grass, first frost of year , hopefully we get a nice early snow to make everyone happy !
