37.6 light snow.

If this started after 6 we could have received 2-3 inches. I'm not expecting anything now except the 1.1 inches I will report just so Doc can move ahead of Syos.

Snowing heavily with huge flakes. Not sticking though. Nice scene. I stopped working when it started to snow. I think I have a problem.

At work..in Dobbs Ferry, rain changed to rain/wet snow mix. Was all snow for a brief time then back to rain/snow mix

850s and 925mb just went below freezing across NYC and LI and NNJ. As soon as sfc temps drop, these areas should change to mix and then all wet snow towards evening.

Yuck rain and snow 37 degrees. I'm not even in a coat 850s must b cold because surface air def not cold enough for snow flakes.

It has been alternating between rain and a rain/snow mix here on the North Shore of LI for 2 hours now. The heavier the precip. the more snow. CP I've gotten 1.5" so far today!! tongue
