It was never our storm, really. I beat a dead horse but @crankywxguy laid this all out two days ago (posted link in last thread). It does make me selfishly sad that eastern New England will cash in. If we can't have it, I don't want anyone to have it! Lol.

Well, too bad it couldn't have been area wide but I'm glad the shore and LI crew will get some nice snow out of it.If I can get 3 or 4 inches up here, I'll be very happy.

Does anyone have a thought on high-end potentials for the immediate coasts? I'm assuming higher potential for LI than JS?

Yes, It's like losing a baseball game 1-0.Frustrating but part of the difficulty getting pieces together. This became more of a Miller B than A.B's are always iffy this neck of the woods and sometimes blow up too late for us but benefit interior New England.

Wow! Inkand areas have jackpotted for over a month and now one storm looks to give the coast more love and everyone goes berserk all at once. Dayaum

It comes back to what I said earlier this morning. If your expectations are Godzilla this is looking less likely. But if (like me) you’re happy to steal a 2-4” event in mid-March that was originally forecast as completely out to sea, then you may still end up ok Tuesday morning. I know few people on here are satisfied with that so I can see writing it off at this point if you were hoping for more. But I’m still watching closely.

Inland has one damn jackpot (yeah it was big one). The rest of the winter was PATHETIC! Hopes were up. Come on, you would do the same. However, hope you get another jackpot.

I probably would but....inkand areas are 30+ inches the last two storms while most down here are under 8.

I also am pretty down in this winter. As I’ve said as nauseoum I like the cold so the snow can stick around but I think inkand guys which I believe you are are up at about 60”+ this year no?

I think 39 here in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area, season average is 48.

We had (I think) only 2 storms (for me anyway) that dropped more than 6", and barely at that.

The storm is Definetly favoring the coast and long island atm. But it still has room to come west and we are only talking 50-100 miles and its came on for many

Not me, Jimmy, I'm glad the NJ Coast and Island folks have more of a chance on this one.Doc deserves a nice snowstorm after he missed out on that 16 inch storm you had out there.Like I said, I'll be thrilled with 3 or 4 out of this. Not giving up until I see the radar tomorrow morning.Let's give this another 24 hours yet.

Bernie Rayno:

-Blizzard for New England, 1-2 FEET in Beantown
-Snow even for Philly and NYC, minor accumulations (mentioned heat island for NYC of course so if it doesn't snow hard, won't accumulate)
-Expects track of storm to come west a bit

However, the issue for us isn't the track -- it's when the storm "bombs out" which doesn't happen until she's north of our latitude.

This all seems pretty reasonable. I think I’m close to his camp of thinking.

I’m with you doc. I want a roidzilla but if I don’t get it there’s two things.
1. I start coaching golf tomorrow
2. I just can’t see the maps giving Red Sox Suck 18-24”

I got about 32 this year. A few small storms and the big one. I'm almost North Central Jersey (close to Bergen County)

But I just got a big one, so I have no right to complain, even though I will Was in the narrow band of heavy snow. A snow pack in March is good.
