It never weakened as I stated above due to the radar sparseness and echos reflection issues in this part of the land.

It did a little bit Mugs.  With the down sloping on the eastern flank of the mts there is only so much lift that can occur and it becomes moisture starved.  But as the frontal boundary moves further east through the Lehigh valley you get some the upsloping again before interacting with the coastal plain where there will be more moisture to work with.  With better vertical motion and increase moisture, although not a ton of QPF, the line seems to reform and appear more organized.

I’ve been looking at another site which reported a horrible accident in PA, snow related. Just don’t want kids buses on the road when it hits. http://www.wfmz.com/news/berks/multiple-vehicles-crash-in-snow-on-route-222-in-berks/995625063

I totally hear ya Mugs. There is validity to both points for sure. There is def down sloping that occurs which ends up leading to the more disjointed/disorganized look to the radar but to your point there is still plenty of lift/sink on the western flank/eastern flanks of the individual peaks and valleys which radar, esp from the coastal plain, might have a much more diff time picking up on the true nature of whats happening making the radar look more disjointed as well. Obv once the front emerges east the more consistent vertical motion long a larger area of the boundary commences and the radar returns become better organized.
