12/16-12/17 Godzilla: Final Snow Map & Obsevations

Snowing hard have picked up.
Bodes well for us 6-7" in Collingswood NJ bow heavy sleet. 2-4" forecasted for them

The storm will try to push the warmer air up at the mid levels.  There is a strong CAD signal there.  See those isotherm temps bend in even down the coast.  Big time battle royal here.

Just talked to a friend in Cherry Hill who has 5"-6" and still snow and sleet mixed there.

yeah looks great so far, moderate snow, 23 degrees (down 2 degrees since 4pm) real heavy stuff fairly soon. Eveything is covered.

Some of the snow flakes are the size of small plates. Take another measurement soon..

btw. The radar presentation is very close to what the 18Z GFS showed for 7 PM FWIW.

Humm rain is now mixing with sleet down here for the first time but the temp went from 37.8 to 38.1.....strange

Being the surface low formed further south does that bode good or bad for the warmer temps aloft pushing into the coast?

About to get blitz in a heavy band. NES issued a heavy snow warning for our area. 1” to 2” snow rates. Yes!!!
