7.5 inches on the ground in Stillwater NJ at 1190 feet altitude, the snow is coming down sideways and the Temperature has been 18 degrees for the last 3 hours but just dropped to 17 degrees, me and my buddy’s are holding our own but will let you know if we need reinforcements to be sent in, Snow is Good !

Honestly this storm is technically a bust for me but still feels good to see real snow on the ground that isn't March slop...so I've made my peace with it. Beautiful regardless.

Looking at radar the snow hole is going north of me and im about to go into some heavier stuff again, that snow hole is not that bad, and its filling in such as here.Temp is however rising at a somewhat concerning speed up to 27.1 now.

It finally started snowing here at 9:15, about 1.5 hours later than forecast.
Started heavier and has lightened up a bit.
Temp is 22 with a real feel of 12. Wind is 9 from the North. No gusts worth mentioning....yet.
Total tonight is between 10-12" with 3-5" tomorrow. Heavy winds expected later tonight.

It will be interesting because I'm not seeing the totals they are predicting.

Frank no sooner did I post then the winds pick up..this storm is crazy...it is POURING out right now!!! And wind whipping..just crazy..other side of town lost power..we are still below freezing..but it's raining

Snowing pretty good again, the air feels a lot wetter than it did earlier. Temp steady at 27 degrees. That band is coming north and it looks to all fill in. Giddy up!

It did not take long for it to travel through here, maybe a hour at most.

It's pouring here ...glad we got 5 inches before it started ..more than we had all season last year...but the rain is so loud mixed with some sleet

So its pretty much let up here, not sure what its doing, its like between a very light sleet/snow. So sounds like rain is moving into most of the area? Will this retreat or continue to crank northward? And how far north do we have any idea? I guess Ray mightr been right about the warm coming in.

Still 90% snow here. Some sleet mixed in. About 5”
