That's me. It is puking snow, but also pounding sleet. My windows are getting pounded with sleet but you look out and it still looks like just heavy snow with big flakes. As Alex just pointed out to me, it is likely convection driven sleet since i'm under that deathband.

I'm just a tad north of you and you can hear it occasionally but its very intermittent. Actually kind of weird tbh, never seen a mix like that. If warm air trying to move in above its struggling to do so.
