12/16-12/17 Godzilla: Final Snow Map & Obsevations

24.5/22 moderate snow.

So taking the dog out for a walk it's already really nasty! Very gusty winds.

Love the cold surface! Even treated roads are already covered.

For places where it doesn't mix this is going to be a blizzard. Inland or not. The pressure gradient will only increase as the storm develops and winds will increase due to that.

Mugs, I never considered legal action against the map. However if I do I will call Billg.

Zilch. Not even enough to wet the sidewalks or show up on grass.

where exactly is the R/S line on that map? And on the intensity of snowfall map, 6 inches per hour in a few spots LMAO, if thats for real holy crap!!

Annnnd it begins. Steady Light Snow here for the past 15 minutes or so. Beginning to coat all untreated surfaces.

Surface wet bulb temps.  These are colder than modeled.

It's snowing lightly at my location. There's about a quarter inch so far. 20.4* degrees.

Light snow just starting Southwest Suffolk county LI

At this point, it's that dry slot that's bothering me the most. Let's get that out of here, shall we? Everything else seems very positive. It's nowcast time!
