1/2" of snow and ice here. Looks pretty.
1st time a salt truck came up my block since 2015 literally, and they made wait for it......5 passes!!
Making up for the past winters? Not that Indid not need it we did but the town said in 2015 they would only salt tertiary roads if warranted??
Model FAILURE !!!

1" here too, have had a light drizzle for about 2 hours, temp hanging on at 30*. Had a little sleet/snow mix as it changed to the drizzle about 5 pm.

Thick coating. Maybe 3/4 of an inch. Truth is, I'm very fine with it. Lawn is white and it feels like winter. 32° F

Re: JAN 26th Light Snowfall
Just measured in at 1.8 inches. Snowing again so maybe we eke out 2 inches by morning. At least everything ls white again and was pretty much expecting about what we received. Now it’s on to Monday and hopefully something quite a bit more significant. We shall see, the journey as always is half the fun.

Final tally 2.1 inches, seasonal now at 17 closing in on last years paltry 23. As Doc stated nice to look like winter again.
Hopefully we blow past that early next week.

Re: JAN 26th Light Snowfall
Measured 1.5 inches here in Hopatcong. Car is frozen solid outside so definitely some ice/sleet mixing involved. I'll take it-- now let's go get a big one!
Just ordered a delivery of heating oil in anticipation of single digit temps up here over the next few days.

Hyde, I like the picture. I always wanted to ask...is that the bassist from Lynyrd Skynryd?
Here, I am snow blowing the driveway. I should have done it last night. It is mush but everything looks so nice. I love the winter months when nature is asleep. CP, I heard a rumor that Othelia the groundhog may come to town Monday.

Lol, my old 70 year old eyeballs came up with 2 inches so at least that still works!
Yes, CP, hoping for another 12 inch plus for next week! We are in the dead of winter right now so hopefully it will produce.

lol, I've always wondered who that is too. I'm going to say no to Skynyrd- that front man is not Ronnie Van Zant, though it does look like Allan Collins (one of Skynyrd's guitarists) minus his guitar. This guitarist could perhaps be Gary Rossington (I believe he is the lone surviving member of the original Skynyrd band), but, I don't really think so.
Zeppelin? The Who?

Re: JAN 26th Light Snowfall
I'd go along with SENJ and say Zeppelin. Looks like Robert Plant, and guitarist to his left looks to be Jimmy Page.
Ding,Ding,Ding we have a winner. Googled it. Here's the concert from 1973, Kezar Stadium, San Francisco.
