This is my way of coursing for my ebay store and it is my relaxation fun on the weekends so to not go would be a big bummer but I also do not want to be stuck in hours of traffic, or re-routing in places I do not know. GPS yesterday did not know certain roads were closed so I had a hard time getting around.
my parents lived by Hopatcong. It is a straight shot up route 80..my sister lives in the area and said the roads were fine by her after the storm. She went to work yesterday and said all fine and she comes down route 80 to Caldwell. I do not know the other areas conditions. Other than Florham Park is prone to flooding.

Also just read Carteret got almost 10 inches of rain..

We all know by now how crazy and wild the weather has been .besides dealing with floods ,hurricane ,tornado.
The West coast parts of Europe Australia and more dealing with major major wildfires to heatwaves .
Who ever thought Seattle Washington state and so on will have 100 deg plus for days without ac .
Smoke from the wildfires that are 1000 miles away would come here .
I always ask myself is this going to end or will keep getting worse and worse.
I am only 36 years old I seen crazy storms in my life I never seen so much rain or Wild weather in my life whoever thought nyc would get tornadoe warning flood emergency warning .My next question is are we heading into a Ice Age because what’s gonna happen next with all the ice is gone

Hi all! Does anyone remember if the NNJ area was hit with 2 severe weather events in one summer? Like remnants of TS or hurricanes with severe flooding? I am looking through some things, but my memory isn't as good as it once was!

My fading memory can't recollect but my NY Daily News Weather Almanac of 1966 states the greatest rainfall in 24 hours was 11.17 inches Oct.8-9, 1903 and the wettest month was Sept 1882 with 16.85 inches. That climate change in 1882 and 1903 was really something,LOL.Aug. 1955 had 10.86 inches.

Climate models show this was the result of Native Americans practicing controlled burning of their lands for centuries before , releasing CO2.

I was down at Ground zero only once about 6 months after. I have not been able to go back since. I still get choked up just thinking about that fateful day like it was yesterday.

I was 17 years old on my way to school at 96 Street and first Avenue every morning when I take my train I could see the world trade center on that morning. At 11 am We left class I was walking with a bunch of people on the FDR back to the Bronx and when I turned around they were gone and I ask myself every day why just why this happened to us those poor people lost their lives

This Coronal Hole may induce more geomagnetic activity = earthquakes and volcanoes - like the strongest recorded Earthquake in Australia's history of a 5.9 in Melbourne.
