Yes recon data shows this but no update. Does it matter at this point? They will do a reanalysis if need be.

true it doesn't, yeah looked at GFS has 4-6 inches for the area, still a post tropical depression in the area which is insane. And ones exits NE becomes a post tropical storm again.

To clarify.

28 residents stayed on Grand Isle with 24 first responders, 15 of the 28 made it to the police station bunker to ride it out.

just heard that grand isle has 40 people on it that stayed behind..a 911 call was just made, but they cant go out to help them..the one highway is so far under 6 feet of water.

What do the call it "brown ocean effect" . Its so swampy and watery down there it doesn't lose energy and teh friction with teh land helps give it a boost as well. Destructive.

I am telling ya'll to go out and fill up your gas tank TONIGHT!! The oil refinery adn platforms near the coast are to have suffered major damage and Colonial has shut down 2 pipelines already. Katrina redux to the max peeps for oil and gas prices ....wonderful!
