55 degrees, steady light to moderate rain, slight breeze.

This weather is depressing still drizzling misty yucky feels like Seattle weather

Very windy here in New Rochelle, NY, gusts have to be at least 30 mph, though I am on a street, like the city that works like a funnel to increase winds. It finally stopped raining, I am okay with cloudy I am just tired of getting wet every time I got out and having to wipe down my car doors seats etc. I think we are supposed to see sun tomorrow. What's this about ANOTHER hybrid system? I swear it better not be this coming weekend.

I believe this one is two weekends from now.  This upcoming weekend there will be an ULL that situates itself in and around NE and Mid Atlantic and drift south.  The exact positioning of the ULL and its associated vorticity will determine if or who gets another crappy weekend with rain and mist and nasty.  GFS and CMC below ...euro coming in now

LOL thats great, I like it. This rain is insane. Watch it dry up with no systems for the winter...I hope these continue and also are far enough offshore or able to pull cold down to clast, I dunno if I can take another year of 5 inches of snow from 1 storm.

Does this clear out before Saturday morning, by looks of models it does.

May not be pouring but it wouldn't surprise me to see certain areas deal with lingering pockets of rain, drizzly, and misty conditions throughout at least the first half of Saturday too.

Okay, well not great news but can't control mother nature but she sure has not been cooperative.

LOL, right mugs.This time of year is the ying -yang of heat and AC.

Interesting. We may finish BN with these next nights ahead and especially of we rain Friday and are cloudy Saturday.

After going 11 days in a row with above normal temperatures in the first half of September, NYC has now gone 12 days in a row with below normal temperatures for the second half.

Glass half full view might be that in 3-4 months from now if the pattern holds, this could be a nice little refresher to the snow pack. Whiten things back up again. lol...maybe??

Sorry to report CMC and Euro want another area wide 2-3" by the end of the day Saturday.  

Start time looks like very late Thursday to early Friday morning.  Lasts through the entire day Friday and lingers with showers and drizzly nonsense for early Saturday and perhaps a second round of steadier precip, esp east along the coast Sat afternoon, if the euro is right.  

American models, GFS and NAM 12k are a bit more all over the place with where the 1-3" rain falls.  Its more spotty on those whereas the cmc and euro is more wide spread.  I personally would expect wide spread totals once again between 1-3" between Friday and early eve Sat with it coming in dribs and drabs like the last several days unfolded.
