LOL!!

Well what is weird is that it's snowing heavily in my front yard, but raining in the backyard.

You're getting snow from the NE winds grabbing the moisture off the sound, sound-effect snow, blowing up against the front of your house. Somebody must have their fireplace going behind you melting the snow at the lower levels.

Hmm i see. Wonder how my neighbor 2 houses down has 6". Maybe he's closer to the north pole
Okay, I WAS telling the truth about my area, thats just rediculous lol

not a big fan of yard house fyi if you are theres a yard house at ridgehill in yonkers. Glad ur having s good time. You missed nothing. And you proved superstition means nothing cuz you being away did not give us a good storm. Lol ill b amazed if the back end produces.

Why don’t you like it?  Is it the 150 options for beer?  Not enough?? 😂 😂 and for the record superstition means everything. Frank started a thread
I stand corrected yes Frank did ruin it for most shame on him! JK Frank but Scott seems to believe it was ur fault. Believe it or not I am not a beer fan, I drink very little and if i do its usually vokda. As for their food I have had much better steaks.

Never apologize rb! I know nothing compared to you…but in my brief college meteorology studies and my lifetime adoration of it…ive learned that no matter how much you know or how experienced you are…mother nature loves the knuckleball! No matter what ….you will always be learning and taking rt crosses from her. Meteorology will never be an exact science…but more of a gut feeling/science and data field. You,frank and all the other knowledgeable dudes on this site are amazing and make this so much more enjoyable! With that said…lets get some friggin big time snows this year!!!!😜 still waitin on another ‘96!!!

I can finally post a snow picture as pathetic as it is, i hear pingers now I do not expect it to last long the R/S line is literally down the street (thats not a joke, i looked at that radar it can't be more than a mile or 2 south of me, frank in bronx is reporting rain and he is just miles from me. Wild swing of a storm.

Well believe it, I literally cannot stomach beer, I like cidar ales thats it and vodka and cran. Used to like whisky sours but they ripped my stomach up. If it is just a bar then it is not the "yard House" chain and I wonder how they were able to use thre same name as the big chain which is what i was talking about.

Almost 12 inches at 10:11 in the pm at 1190 feet altitude, still coming down hard , was just out with the wife
(no pictures) shoveling 1/2 the driveway, it is really accumulating quickly! Funny thing up until last year I also owned a home in Ft Lee Nj, takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there and they have no snow, crazy weather!

No it's because 1190 ft makes up his totals from inside his house, KIDDING.

The elevation certainly helps plus he happens to be under an intense band for several hours now.

I think it's coming your way Damian. I was little more than an inch at 8:00PM and at 10:30 I'm now at 5.0 inches even, almost 2 inch per hour rates and 29.1°.

Why can't it do this at least once a week for six months.

I hope that all continues to stay snow and that I can actually get something measurable, right now looks like 1/2 inch or so. I am surprised it snowed hard enough to take over all the water on the roads from the heavy rain earlier.
