Central Park recorded .2" today. Last winter it took until February 1 for measurable snowfall. It's extremely unusual to see two years in a row where it takes at least January for that.

So I’ve been quiet because I have been in Florida golfing with my dad. Today I went to happy hour to watch football at this amazing brew house called Yard House with 150 Draft beers…

Goodluck to all that got snow. Rb you did a lot of work. Weather is one of those things. I mean we cant even figure out why 3 out of 4 rowns in basically the same arwa are raining but one has a inch or so per lglick. So for reference its yonkers mt. Vernon snd new rochelle rained never really snowed. Eastchester/scarsdale had a inch snd snowing a few hrs ago. I dunno what the update is. We must have microclimates here or st. This happens with svr tstorms too they always fall apart over this area but to north snd south by meer miles all hell breaks loose. Id love to dig into this msybe make some type of scientific breakthrough for this area.

I spent most of the evening at a diner in East Hanover and could see out the window it was snowing heavily the entire time, and expected to see more on the car when I left. But there was plenty of snow on Rt 10 driving home behind plows and salt trucks. It turned to a snow/sleet mix on the way home. Came home to about 3 inches on my front walk about 8:30 pm.

2.5-3 inches in Hillsborough, NJ. Surprised it just started switching over to sleet and rain about an hour ago. Nice winter wonderland finally.

not a big fan of yard house fyi if you are theres a yard house at ridgehill in yonkers. Glad ur having s good time. You missed nothing. And you proved superstition means nothing cuz you being away did not give us a good storm. Lol ill b amazed if the back end produces.

Changed from a rain snow mix back to a steady light snow here just before 9pm, and temp went to 32 from 33. Still inside two inches on cold surfaces and slop on the street, and the melting brought it all down a bit.

At 6:30 in the pm I had a little over 3 inches (see pictures)
It is now 9:12 in the pm and have 10 inches of snow, coming down sideways, STILL 28 DEGREES, temperature has nut changed since the snow started! I looked at the radar and I think it will end here around 2 in the am, I am fine with that!

Well, it took a while but it has been ripping here the last hour.

3.1 inches on the ground as of 930. Seems ridiculous to Post when the post before me s mere 30 miles or so to my West has 10 inches but you take what you can get, let's see what the morning brings.
