January 23, 2016 Roidzilla Observations
With some models beginning to show snow entering our area by as early as this evening, I decided to start an OBS thread.
Good luck to all, hopefully we ALL get substantial snow from this.

Weirdo from northern Delaware (super-close to South Jersey!)
Hey all!
Since I live in Delaware, I know my posts aren't particularly relevant, but we're going to be getting a good brunt of the storm, so I thought I'd chime in!
You might have read in my Introduction post or my profile that I'm the proud owner/operator of a completely silly and totally unscientific SnowBucketCam, which is a bucket with a yardstick duct-taped to it, with a webcam taking pictures of it every three minutes, and then those pictures are uploaded and analyzed on a website that anyone can look at (and laugh at when it gets buggy, which it will, and which is part of its charm). I'm a new user so I'm not allowed to post links yet (totally reasonable / understandable), but if you google "Jill snow bucket Delaware" you'll easily find it. (The page is called "How Deep Is the Snow on Jill's Bucket?"
The NWS is saying in north Wilmington (where I live -- look for "Arden" on a map) can get anywhere from 18-24" of snow. I doubt my snowbucket can record that much snow (especially blowing snow), but it'll be fun trying!
Anyway, just sending you all good thoughts, and I hope the power stays on!
Cheers from DelaWhere?
Jill

I'm thinking and expecting the heavy stuff stays at TZ bridge and south. Traumatized by a couple of storms last year and I don't believe the invisible barrier has been moved until I see it with my own eyes.
