That gradient near the coast is gonna be fun (or torture) to watch.
Like Lee was saying it could potentially go from 9 to 20" within NYC limits.

Also are we expect thundersnow? U have not discussed that. The wind will b bad and I'm expect power outages for southern westchester is that included in ur 60 to 70 mph wind area? Thanks so much for all this grabbing some beer as well and gonna try stay up.lol.
On second look I probably would include all of Westchester and northern half of Bronx in the red. It's hard to look at every county with these snow maps.

Yes to the drink and window, no to the models! lol (Except I have to wait til 11, I'm on call)

Scott usually makes a map thread. He's slacking. Firing him.
Where's your map? I'll make it.

Got it - didn't realize that with so many different areas of predictions. Not sure I've seen you go to 6 layers. Thx

Frank, awesome work as usual! I'm here in Deer Park hoping for the 8-14, thinking more like 5-10. Either way it will be wild for a while with the snow pouring down along with strong winds. Enjoy your thumping!!

So quiet in my backyard at sunset. All of last Friday's snow is gone. No wind. Will be a different scene in about 8 or 9 hours. And already down to 32*

Better! We don't name storms here except for zilla status! (Also, my daughter the Math major agrees!)

Obviously love the map as I find myself happily tucked into the center of that red zone here in the hills of Hopatcong, NJ, I just want to thank you for the thrilling ride that has been the past week. You really have kept this place buzzing and have been very helpful answering all the questions from amateur snow weenies like myself.
Cheers! (New Belgium DayBlazer for me-- good beer!)
Everyone enjoy the storm.
Good Luck with the storm...my parents are on the lake in Mount Arlington

I hope that this is not off topic but could you remind me what the definitions are of Godzilla, Roidzilla, and Frankzilla?
I long to see a 36 inch snow fall here in Manhattan (or wherever I'm living) someday. What would that be called?
