Soul do yourself a favor STOP following him!! I did for a while and when he poo pooed the 3 major hcanes until it was too late spoke volumes. He has a name cranky for a reason. He also poo pooed the blizzard last year and the Jan 4th storm this year. Choice is yours man.
Listen, I've thought about it a lot lately, believe me. He's taking the joy out of my weather obsession! Lol.

I just don’t want another coastal mess, haven’t had a real good one all season really, except very early. Lets all go out with a BOOM!

The stalling low (Thing 2) seems a common feature on all models at this point. This is a good thing.

Good question, it's tax season and I couldn't be busier than I am right now and all I've done for three hours is check out this forum every three minutes. It's actually the main reason I try to keep my identity anonymous. Would you want your accountant doing this all day long? Personally I wouldn't and I'd fire the bastard if I knew.

FWIW I tend to focus less on precip accumulation maps and more on storm track and likely banding locations in these storms. So from my perspective, not very concerned.

Don't be - lets see where Euro comes in - CMC outlier right now - saying the confluence to the North is resisting and now expanding the Western and norther flank - a 990/sub 990 hitting inside teh BM it will get NW of where it is and its own ENS doesn't agree with it.
Math will agree with it and more lOL!
