22 degrees, icing from the sleet. My road is podunk anyway but poorly cleared. I would be surprised if there is no delay tomorrow for the kids.

Just got through of shoveling sleet and snow roughly about an inch and a half Has Fallen temperature is now above freezing at 34 degrees with light rain drive carefully roads are slushy and icy

I wxpect most if not all Morris, Sussex, Warren, Orange, Northern Westchester, Putnam, Western Passaic school with western Bergen county schools to call delayed openings tomorrow due to the temp holding at it below freezing. Roads are a mess here.

Temps.on NAM and HRRR keep NNJ in the freezing range 32-33 all night. Hmmmmm.
Issue being icy roads won't melt unless the are treated.

90 minute delay for my kids. Not surprised. Just hope the roads aren't too bad in the morning. While out shoveling earlier, noticed lots of ice on railings and branches. Be careful out there everyone.

25.2° and as I take the final measurement for the day it's moderate sleet and freezing rain again.

2.9 inches of sleet and snow. For those of you keeping tracking the NWS doesn't distinguish between the two. Sleet goes into your snow totals.
