NWS says most of day highest winds 3-7pm, thats likely why no blizzard warning, but it is still possible if longer duration winds happen.

Wow

dual pol shows the r/s line is north of cape may

The mid-levels seem plenty cold to support snow now.  I'm shocked you'd be raining.

Low-level warmth. Strong onshore fetch off a warm ocean doesn’t take long.

What's your surface temp?

By feel, I’d say probably up to 35-37° after the change, but I’ll confirm momentarily.

Looks my temperature taking skills are on par hahaha

I remember people on the South Shore of LI telling me if the winds are from the aren't from the northeast during a storm, then they rain regardless of the antecedent air mass.  always thought that was crazy, but probably true.

Yeah, these barrier islands and costal communities are so much their own microclimates it’s insane.

18 degrees and light snow.
I’ve reached the saturation point and can’t look at another map be it good, bad, historic or indifferent. I now need to know what’s going to happen IMBY and I need to see it happen. Good to luck to all.
