I think it's the potential moreso than the verbatim right now.

Haha! Jman, these winter storms are not making life easy on you. You might be Ok with the Fri to Sunday. I think the time frame on Sunday (though it can change) is later Sunday so maybe you can get back before it hits. Of course we're 6 days away so timing details are simply wild speculation right now.
what about tomorrow do you think it wise to get out tomorrow?

I wouldn't recommend traveling yet tomorrow. Not that I think the snow tomorrow will rival today, but with it still snowing off and on, and the snow already out there, I can imagine road crews are going to have an uphill battle to keep things clear. I'd say Wednesday is when things will clear up for travel.

I sadly am still unemployed with this stupid covid making it really hard to find a job in my field. So im always free lol

so i moved my plans to wed and thurs, that should avoid this storm and the potential of sundays or whatever day it may come. we know superbowl storms can happen and if mugs knows anything which he does this ones comin too!! I hope the rain later this week doesnt mess this up too much.

Yeah, if this storm hits Sunday, that snow isn't going anywhere for awhile. Either way, definitely at least several days of extreme cold next week.

oy, gonna get my muscles back i guess. gonna be hell parking, do you have a driveway or street park? Street parking 2 cars is so much fun in many feet of snow, not many people shovel nicely. But its the price to pay to have these fun storms.

This jet structure is amazing and shows a bombgenesis pattern with 130/140k speed out off the coastline to supercharge the energy. Need some things to come together but tjis I'd a pure Miller A
Bid dip and a PNA rise out west that helps too.

Fantastic heights out west to drop the cold air in and great dig in the east to suck up that Gulf moisture.

Well imagine having to redig out everyday instead of just once, i would kill to havea driveway. Once it snows like this and continues i shovel prolly 80x till spring. Oh also i bet you do like me and bend at the waist and fling, DONT DO THAT, its slower but bend at the knees once you have a scoop keeping back straight as best you can and stand up and bring it to the spot, you won't kill as much. Or kill yourself and take some funny meds if you can get em

Woah, Sunday storm, drops another 10 inches plus on area, much tighter fast moving storm though and super close to the coast it actually moves over eastern LI and cape cod, the pressure gradiant is very strong, if were to verify during and behind HWW criteria could be met.

There is some thought that the storm could form too far to the NE of us to really impact our area. Is there any merit to that?

TWC has me for 2-6 on Sunday not that thats at all accurate. Where did you see it saying another major storm? I know the models show it but I do not see the story. I am not go complain at all about a mothrazilla after this storm we kinda need a bit of a break, or I do anyways to allow for some cleanup.
