Re: 2021 Tropical Season
Moderate rain come wins and I have to say This was a tough tough call for a tropical storm. I want to say thank you so much to jman sroc amugs and ray You guys really did a excellent job .
I just don’t understand people I have a lot of my coworkers call me on scene where is the storm we have no wind you may be spent so much money on a generator and I always tell him why wait for the last-minute Especially when we’re having a hurricane or a blizzard you know you guys lose power I always thought everybody prepare for the worst because predicting the weather is very very hard it’s not easy job

Flash Flood Warning in effect once again for a waterlogged New York City as another copious band of heavy rain has set up across the area, thanks to Henri’s tropical moisture. Wouldn’t be surprised if parts of the city end up with 10 inches of rain when all is said and done…

The wave WILL have implications on tropics as we move forward. Buckle up says Ventrice in conjunction with MJO.

By implications do you mean risk or less risk ?

More risk and we ramp up the cyclone season to an Above Average number but it is the height of hcane season season so..... and possibly stronger storms.

I’m not saying anything firm until I get a chance to re-analyze lol just because that modeling is showing a similar hemispheric alignment, it doesn’t necessarily mean we will get the same result. Have to see if that pattern is supported by other factors, and if so, the look for the devil that’s in the details. That said, I don’t like the fact that that pattern is showing up again haha
I guess it’s a good thing I’m on vacation this week, because it looks like the late nights may continue ahaha

Re: 2021 Tropical Season
There also has to be a storm there which at this time there doesn't appear to be a threat of as far as I can see. The two areas one is staying in the deep tropics the other is heading NE of Bermuda. But if you got something to track let me know. Amazing that the setup is almost identical.rb924119 wrote:phil155 wrote:I am guessing RB thinks we can see a similar situation in about 10-12 days

ohhh pretty colors lol, are any of these a possible concern to our area? From the looks of where they are going they wouldn't post a threat to the area, maybe that one system to the far west?sroc4 wrote:

Doesn’t appear that way at this point Jon. Certainly the tropics are becoming active though

90 day return policy on my new generator.
Think I’ll hold on to it for a little while longer.
Guess we are going to track again, nice.

Invest 99L has an ominous look on the latest GFS. Looks like it gets to major hurricane status...possibly a Cat 4 right into Louisiana. The GOM is a straight up bath right now.
