NW of I95 it's snowing as the mid-levels have gone below freezing. The entire column has not cooled fast enough though. My guess is C-1" as I do think surface will go below freezing while there is still precip. Those SE of I95 probably going to be tough to accumulate much of anything.

By the time it cools down and changes to snow along the coast might not be lots of precip left.

33 degrees and light snow.Ground getting coated.I am right on that purple line on Heehaw's map above.Might get that inch after all.

35* still a cold rain here. Maybe some flakes starting to mix in but just a soaker at the moment. If it changes to snow at this intensity and lasts another three hours I could see getting an inch or so, but that’s assuming it sticks to this wet, warm ground.

31.4° moderate snow, maybe .5 inch new snow on streets and driveway, pleasantly surprised.

I’ve found a quick way to compare what’s happening to the short range model predictions is to look at the weather apps on your phone that have a “future radar” feature (accuweather, TWC do). If the projection is “off” a bit you’ll notice the jump when the radar goes from current to future. Right now the future radar had the snow line down to South Jersey and the Jersey shore, but current radar still has it back at or just west of the NJ Turnpike. So the changeover is definitely a bit behind schedule (although clearly happening if you look at the quick transition just to our northwest).

Raining pretty good here in edison right now. Not seeing this one putting much snow on the ground at all unless it changes very soon and begins sticking rather quickly

Seeing signs of the radar backfilling a bit near eastern PA. Maybe areas in NNJ do squeak out the 1-3” forecast. Still think coast is mostly C-1”

31.3° moderate snow continues. Officially .6 inches of new snow. If I can get two inches out of this will consider it a big win.

We have ugatz here in NE NJ. Enjoy the snow and we should be flipping in the next 1/2 hour. Fickle tricky Anafront systems.
Models were to aggressive with cold air intrusion. As so goes this winter so far.

Yep we got no snow just rain..we did not have delay but with a new driver in the house ... I drove him this morning he leaves high school at 10:30 to take a college class..worried it would be icy at that point. Not ready as husband says " let him be a man" just yet Very Happy

31 degrees. light to moderate occasional blowing snow.Looks like an inch OTG ATM.Nice surprise, took garbage out at 6 AM and was just a little wet on the driveway and street, all covered now.Salt trucks operating.

10 AM stop time here is right CP.Accuweather advanced radar shows that.2 is a possibility.

Wow, heehaw, according to the progression of your two wet bulb posts, it looks like that line is not hitting the coast anytime soon.

I remember last year's super bowl storm the temps crashed to the coast in lightning speed and gave us about 5" and not the C-2" progged as of that morning. But I also remember those temps were crashing from the beginning.

Hope I'm wrong, but this is smelling like a potential skunking for the coast at the moment. Or at the very least (very most?) a sloppy inch or so. I'm kinda glad im not there to experience that sinking stomach feeling of not coming close to the forecast potential of 1-3". But on the other hand, 2-3 hours of decent daytime snowfall- who am I to ever say no to that! ha ha

Hoping for a strong finish today for you all!

Our district called a snow day last night.

Just started snowing here at 8:30am and it's not sticking on any surface.
