Heat island effect in Midtown. Can't tell if it's rain or snow. It's very light. Looks wet and miserable out. These are the days I don't mind working from home.

30° and 1.5 inches new snow, and down to light snow.

That should about do it accumulation wise. Nice freshener for the snowpack.

Funny how the changeover time was so off, 3 hours later than forecast or modeled. Schools could have started on time. Switched over at 8 am, snowing at a good clip now.

I will day though, I thought models did well because almost all other than HRRR had rain through 9am for coastal plain. NAM especially was showing this start as all rain.

Still think a C-1” possible here. Maybe 2 up by you

Ehhh check out the time stamp. 8am and still rain over our parts. I thought it was well modeled.

Snowing heavily here in Eastern CT, 28th floor at Mohegan Sun Resort, sticking to mainly grass. If you have never been here it is def a place you have to visit at least once, its unlike any casino resort you have ever seen and its got everything you could imagine, there's no reason to leave the property. even if you don't like to gamble theres comedy club, pool, spa, mall and a ridiculous amount of places to eat. Not to mention breathtaking views of the thames river and the rolling hills. visibility is low due to snow. other pics were from tuesday. This view is east towards RI.

Overall it’s another bust. You can’t sugar coat this. It’s been the general theme thus far this winter.
