Snowing harder here and definitely feels colder. 1-2 on the ground and no call yet at all from the office...

this band stretched all the way to eastern PA. Better ratios north and west but i think areas near the coast will see heavy bands. Still developing to the south

Unless the heavy stuff kicks in soon here, that seems more reasonable. When I look out my window and see heavy snow, I'll believe!

3-4 inch per hour snowfall rates are moving into the area. Some sleet may mix in. If you didn't notice, I updated my snow map last night. Big storm here....

I have a few concerns (please anyones input would be great), one getting stuck in these bands on the way to work in about a hour, getting told to go home as soon as we get there and having to drive back in it lol, and if a full day getting home tonight and then tomorrow morning.  If I took a sick day (which I can) should I today or tomorrow, or not at all?  I drive do not take PT.

some places to the south west have been getting these rates for over 3-4 hours already according to radar. Some places should have 5-10 inches by dc and philly already

Frank what's your update? Steve D saying it's colder and east. Also most locales have a Ne wind keeping the cold air in. He upped me to 10-18"
