Re: Archived: 2/13/14 Godzilla Storm
its coming down right now by where i am, south shore of long island.
huge snowflakes, deff a sight to see.
if this does not change over to rain, no reason we cant see 15 plus .
i know i should enjoy this storm while its here, and i deff am, but i just hope this is not the last big snowstorm of the year, bc everything i here/read is showing warm temps next couple of weeks.

Still no huge flakes here watching the bands to the south, I hope we get into that. Fine moderate snow now visibility going down some gusty winds.

Doc, I'm just South of you and it's snowing so hard. The flakes are no longer flakes. They are huge. The only way I can describe it is to say that...it's falling "thickly". You should be getting blitzed soon.

How long will the changeover/lull last? And when do we get back into accumulating snow?

Look at that band in south central Nj. 4-5 inch snowfall rates PER HOUR and it's heading this way
