Just got a call from my rep at the Mets. If I can get 15 people to go on 7/15 fireworks night, we can go on the warning track for National Anthem. Seats would be in section 526 or so for about $37. Let me know ASAP!

Your above statements Jimmy are those of a reasonable, responsible citizen raising a family and paying the bills.We were taught in the stone age that you respect your opponents then roll up your sleeves and try and figure out what you did wrong, to win the next time.Civility, which is the glue that keeps civilization together, is sadly disappearing as evidenced by these demonstrations that have led to physical violence and loss of property.I blame that loss of civility on the destruction of the family due to divorce and the people turning their backs on God.Without morality as a guide,civilization descends into a "just do what feels good" type of system with no respect for others feelings or the benefit of the entire civilization.Morality and civility are the foundations of a solid country whose economy will benefit by adherence to those values.Just my two cents from an old fogey who has watched the passing parade of time since the 1950's,LOL.My perennial optimistic side still sees many fine young people who have the same values as we do Jimmy.Gotta keep a "glass half full" attitude these days!!!!!

Ryan, sadly, you will find most faculty on colleges in our country are all left leaning.The only discussions allowed are those that fit the leftist agenda.Conservative students are brow beaten and are fearful of expressing their views for fear of grades being lowered or actual physical violence.My advice to you, just keep working hard, get your degree , and move on to the real world.

Jimmy, on no way are you responsible for this.No apology necessary.My generation, the Baby Boomers, are no angels either.I lived through all this so I know.The difference between 1960 in this country and 1970 was like Mars and Earth.My generation started the Hippy movement, drugs, free sex (lol, really liked THAT one in the 70's),mass protests and rioting in the cities.Civil disobediance was on display at the 1968 Chicago Democratic Convention.The truly great folks were the "Greatest Generation", those who lived through the Depression and fought World War Two.From these great people I learned self discipline, honor of country and family and God, self reliance and hard work.They also were OPTIMISTIC people with great senses of humor, so we grew up happy,laughing and positive with great optimism for our futures.I thank God every day I grew up when I did.
