01/23/16 Storm Update #6 - Final Call
Good evening,
Sorry for the delay. I had a busy day at work. Here is my final call snow map in advance of the impending Godzilla set to hit our area beginning tonight and lasting through all of Saturday.
I will have an additional write up later tonight detailing why I am forecasting these amounts.
Enjoy the storm!
Best,
Frank

Nice map Frank. Check the start time and end time. I think you may be 24hrs off.

Jman's going to freak when he sees that map. He's so close to the 15-24" line yet sooooooo far away. DOC AND CP 6-12"
Frank later if you can please answer my question about ratios. I think they will be A LOT higher than 10:1 inland and even about 13:1 on the coast due to how cold and dry it is out. this should increase numbers all around by 3-5"

I'm split between 6-12 and 12-18 but it's understandable because Frank knows the area hell he works here lmao

Syo...heard a met talk about this. He said everyone will be about 12 to 1 at the start. During early pm, long island coast and jersey shore will become more 10 to 1 because of warm air off ocean. NW jersey and HV will have 15 to 1. We return to 12 to 1 when sun sets.

Re: 01/23/16 Storm Update #6 - Final Call
My final call. Win lose or draw I have to say its been quite a ride. I feel like the anxiety over the last 2 days has been like when you are strapped into the seat of a roller coaster...click click click...up the hill butterflys and nerves about whats to come. Well now boys and girls we no longer have to feel the anxiety of what is to come...we are just about over the top so sit back and get your hands up above our heads and enjoy the ride!!!

Interesting, I keep on hearing the start time as 1 a.m. Saturday. Any reason why you're forecasting it a few hours earlier?

Barely on Frank's 6-12 line a couple of miles south of thee 3-6. I've always expected this storm to torture me. So far mission accomplished.

Speaking of work, I was in a meeting room with a bunch of Co workers watching the EURO come in. They were in awe. Fun stuff.

So people in the HV are getting 2-4 or 6-10? No 4.1 to 5.9 areas. Seems extreme.

Ahh crap CP. I didn't see that. I raced home from work to update things and missed it. Leave it to the HV guy to spot that. Lol. And now I'm mobile waiting for my pizza and garlic knots. Son of a....

It had All of Orange County in 12-16 range. I'd be very happy with that but of course I have my doubts. I'd take 8-10 and be satisfied after all the ups and downs of this storm.
