There's a very light coating on the cars in Parsippany. My mom is reporting the same in Wayne.
Awesome!!

Another NASCAR fan! Yes, it would be nice, but based where I am, I'm good with what I get..

Saw this graphic posted elsewhere. I really like it. The polar low's are set to phase with the STJ low and you can clearly see our HP's to the north.

That I am Janet! and yes, not complaining here either. I'm in a good spot, although it could be a close call with the sleet and dry slot if it comes any further west.

Frank, what do you think of the post I seen on Facebook saying an eye wall is being formed?

Hi Frank. First, thanks for providing such a great forum for amateurs and pro's alike. I check out some "other" forums that are very intimidating, therefore I stay far away from commenting lol.
My question is, I live in Manalapan bordering Englishtown, Old Bridge, and Monroe. Does this expansion of precip mean we here in inland Monmouth County have an opportunity for a colder solution limiting rain, but also increasing snow totals? I've heard anywhere from 6 inches, up to 15 inches. Thanks in advance.

Please look at this graphic. Look how the moisture feeds into this system off the Atlantic. We're talking about 3-4 inches of liquid somewhere along the coast. Flooding could be a major concern, actually.

Why would we jump off a bridge? It's been showing that track and discounted for 3 days now.

Silly question - Why is the time stamp on my computer off by an hour while the mobile version is correct? Does it have something to do with the time change? Do we manually have to reset the time?

Also full moon right now, so I think coastal flooding would be enhanced.

Just the fact that there are flurries in Manhattan at 10:30....4 hours before models called for flurries...means that forget Long range models and look for SR models and your eye sight. This will be fun for at least 12 straight hours. Then dry slot us all you want.

The HRRR is almost in the exact same placement. Yet the thermal profile is different as a result of the HRRR's increased resolution. Given observations, I agree with it.syosnow94 wrote:aiannone wrote:

I mean, with the dynamics involved that would not shock me. It would not be the first Nor'easter to have an eye.

I would check my snow map because I feel really confident about it. I think I have that area in 8-14 inches? Which seems on par with what you're hearing. It's a tough forecast. A slight jog east in track will limit any dry air or warmth that gets to you.

There is some great radar/water vapor watching to be done right now. It goes well with my beer.
