This R/S line is starting to give me a sick feeling. I hope it collapses as the low deepens.

On second thought ef this storm anyway. I admire sroc4 for being able to stay silent with as angry as he's gotta be I'm going to try and go silent to. Only one more post will be a final total when we switch over. GIANT MIDDLE FINGER TO THIS POS STELLA

Yeah, UPTON just lowered NYC and coastal CT to 8-16 inches. That r/s line is crashing northward. Congrats interior tho, they deserved a good one.

Models had the 850mb low east of our area. It has formed but it already looks kinda west to me. Hope we're not in for a rude awakening...literally.

Folks now you see how the MET's on TV hype this stuff up. This a complete bust make for reality TV. Yesterday Star Ledger called it "Life Threatening" RS Line will keep totals down now Philly they calling for 1-3 inches and Jersey totals dropped unless you live in the NW part of the state. Remember a good MET NEVER EVER POSTS TOTALS!

Yikes, it's 33* and plain rain in Philly. If that doesn't go back to snow, there's gonna be a lynch mob for the forecasters down there.

Mixing in Brooklyn now. Incredible. The NAM is just deadly lately. This may be the second greatest bust I've ever experienced, after Jan 2015. Only thing I can think of is the r/s line crashes back east as the storm intensifies...

Good news is I dropped a degree to 27*. Still snowing. Just watched 6ABC in Philly to get a feel for the mood there. David Henry was already writing off totals in South Jersey and - doing the slow walk back - saying Philly would be at the lower end of its projections due to rain and mixing. Now I'm hoping I'm far enough N and W to hold the line on snow here.

Certainly possible. Some of the models yesterday showed the mix line progressing north then stopping and collapsing back south and east a bit. That's my hope since I'm very close to the line right now (though holding strong with cold and snow at the moment). Too late to save much more snow for most of the coastal/shore towns I fear though.
