Measured just over 12 inches of snow before sleet started. Did hear a thunderclap while shoveling.

Here is the r/s line. It advanced pretty far N&W. Once the low pulls away from the coast you should see it collapse S&E again, but could be another while.

20*, very heavy snow and thundersnow in Hyde park. 2-3 inches an hour right now and just piling up.

I'd say it's equal parts sleet and snow right now here in Port Chester/Greenwich CT. I'm 4 stories up and my unit faces northeast (unobstructed) so it's just banging against my windows like mad via strong winds! I thought someone broke into my place earlier from all the noise in the living room!

We should pass the 13.8 from that storm in the next 30 minutes.
Just hope the dreaded sleet stays south of us, it's already much further north than forecast.

almost an hour of sleet now, snow is compacted. will cut down on my totals
Radar doesn't show but NW off of I80, which is me is definitely mostly sleet and good wind gusts.

I am well south of 80...heck 10 miles south of 78...and it has been moderately snowing for last past half hour or so.
