I've got enough sleet here to start an Italian ice business. Cherry or watermelon?

This storm means business up here. Near white out conditions. Snowing like Armagedon. Some blowing and drifting. Getting spanked real hard.

14.0 inches even. We officially past Februarys storm. 3-4 inch per hour rates right now. CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next stop passing the 22 inches from the Valentines day 2014 storm. I'll have to consult Frank on that one.

Sleet is mixing occasionally with the very heavy snow right now. UGH ! Wind is out of the NW at 10-25mph. Oh well so much for an all snow event.

This sleet is ridiculous. Lord almighty shoveling this is going to suck. Man, seeing those rates and mesoscale banding over NWNJ/NEPA, so jealous haha, good for you folks! NEED this 850mb low to just push out east and bend these wind vectors, it would crash if it does so.

Joanne, if it looks like a frozen snowflake, with white inside an ice pellet it's graupel. If it is clear ice pellets it's sleet.

Radar doesn't show but NW off of I80, which is me is definitely mostly sleet and good wind gusts.
JUST went back to all snow here guys I'm about 15 miles due north of I-80 in Southern Sussex. Blizzard conditions have resumed but only just now after about 1 hour of straight sleet....think it will stay snow from now on? Have we started fighting the rain/snow line back south?
