*IF* it does, you might not technically jackpot, but you'd likely more than double your 2-4" forecast from the NWS lol
WOOOOO!

False alarm. I thought this was actual low position. It's a forecast. The SLP is still well off the coast.

I have issues with the Meso-analysis. Look at the pressure contours versus the wind barbs. The circulation does not match the contours lol

Yes, I noticed that before. Low placement should be 75 miles west according to wind barbs.

It may not be reaching the ground, but technically the first precipitation echos have reached NJ. Hello Cape May.

Black circle is the frontgenesis that will bring moderate to heavy snows on the outer bands as I discussed earlier

who sleeps during storm week....it's all about cat naps... you watch the models and the posts for a week..then you have to stay awake to wait for the first flakes, next you have to stay awake to see the progression of a storm... a vicious, but glorious cycle!!

Are we done looking at models, and just watching real time progression?

Re: January 4th Mothrazilla: Final Call & Observations
I think the time for models has really passed. Best thing to do now is see how the radar and other real-time data are progressing.

Re: January 4th Mothrazilla: Final Call & Observations
300mb jet streak looks nice. The more this expands to the west the larger the precip shield is likely to be.
