I have issues with the Meso-analysis. Look at the pressure contours versus the wind barbs. The circulation does not match the contours lol

Yes, I noticed that before. Low placement should be 75 miles west according to wind barbs.

you watch the models and the posts for a week..then you have to stay awake to wait for the first flakes, next you have to stay awake to see the progression of a storm... a vicious, but glorious cycle!!

I think the time for models has really passed. Best thing to do now is see how the radar and other real-time data are progressing.

300mb jet streak looks nice. The more this expands to the west the larger the precip shield is likely to be.
