For those keeping score Jman has only given up on this storm 7 times since Thursday. As long as that number stays below 12 I have calculated that past historical data shows an 82% probability the storm will still be a hit. If the number hits 15 the probability drops to 67%.

Wow NAM is 12-18 for most and its still nowing!! And it gets damn windy too especially LI and eastern areas but coast everywhere gets hit hard. Hi-res nam shows a long period of rain 1st? Then theres a huge amount of snow behind that that l;ooks like it would swing in. So are we now looking at more of a 21st and 22nd storm now?

I'm actually rooting for your area and NYC proper more on this one than I am my own area.

It almost feels gluttoness at this point for me to root for more snow. Don't get me wrong though if it comes I'll gladly take it.

We have about half the EPS members showing warning level snow for NYC, some godzilla totals and most of them show at least some snow into NYC but the cut off is tight.
